Anyways, obviously this car is going to appeal to someone who doesn't already own a Z, because someone who already has one doesn't need to buy one. Anyone who reads these posts and doesn't have a Z already, but is interested in one, needs to know what issues are going to come up from owning a 10+ year old sports car that only uses foreign specialty parts $$$$. No offence, but a tt in general is going to have more car problems than an NA, and is a much higher risk to buy. Common knowledge. The NA does have it's fair share of problems, but you have a little more assurance buying an NA than a tt that you aren't going to have to spend a fortune in the first 2 years on repairs. I've already spent the money to have all the NA issues resolved in this car. What I'm offering is something that I haven't seen from any other Z for sale on this site or others. An NA that's had the complete motor, tranny, whole cooling system, rims, exhaust, headers, heater core, vacuum lines, egr, pcv, ecu, alt, battery, wheel bearings, abs sensors, every o2, radio, plus hunderds more things either replaced by stock or upgraded parts. On top of that, I still have a 2 yr parts and labor warrantee on my engine. There are no guarantees in life, especially when it comes to a 10+ yr old, foreign sports car, but my car is as close as it gets. And it looks different from every other one on the road. That's all I'm saying. That's where the value is in this purchase. A 93 NA, same miles and everything, you say would sell for $8k. If it hasn't had the work done to it that this one has already, it's going to cost at least $10k in parts and labor in the next few years. You own a Z, so you already know this. Plus if the previous owner was like most Z car owners, than he probably has the same looking body and parts that pretty much all Z's have now, and it isn't going to look as unique as this car does. The person who is going to buy this car is someone who wants a Z car that doesn't look like all the others, wants one in great shape, one that's well maintained, and is going to drive virtually maintenance free for the next 40-60k miles, and they are willing to pay for that assurance. That's what I have to sell.
